What is a Non-Pigmented Mole?

Raised profile? Smooth it out. Completely

Non-pigmented moles are raised, skin-coloured or slightly pinkish growths that sit on the surface of the skin. Unlike flat, dark moles, these flesh-coloured bumps contain no significant pigment.

While completely harmless, they frequently catch the light in photos, disrupt makeup application, and break the natural symmetry of your complexion. Removing these raised profile bumps is one of the fastest ways to instantly restore a younger, smoother, and more refreshed appearance to the face.

How Does The Treatment Work?

Raised flesh-coloured moles respond beautifully to Advanced Thermolysis. A specialized micro-current of controlled heat energy is precisely applied to the structure of the mole, safely sealing off its vascular blood supply and causing the raised tissue to flatten down.

Most non-pigmented moles require one to two treatments in total depending entirely on their initial size. This clean process involves no lasers, no aggressive chemicals, and no surgical cutting or stitches, leaving the surrounding skin entirely undisturbed.

How Much Does Non Pigmented Mole Reduction Cost?

We believe in clear, upfront clinical fees with zero hidden costs. Our mole reduction pricing is determined by the size and quantity treated during your dedicated session

Non Pigmented Mole Reduction Session: €100 (Includes full advanced thermolysis treatment up to 15 minutes).

Note: Your treatment session can only be booked once you have provided your official GP or Dermatologist clearance letter.

No stitches. No scalpels. Quick Reduction.

What Results Can You Expect?

Advanced Electrolysis delivers exceptional results, flattening the profile of the non-pigmented mole so the skin reflects light evenly. For a flawless journey, clinical expectations should be managed realistically:

Immediate Post-Treatment: The treated non-pigmented mole may temporarily appear white, surrounded by localised warmth, mild swelling, or a pink histamine flush. This is completely normal and dissipates over 24 to 48 hours.

The Healing Phase: A firm scab will form to protect the regenerating tissue beneath. It typically takes two to four weeks for the crust to naturally drop away and for the underlying skin tone to begin blending.

The Final Polish: While a dramatic reduction in height is achieved, an exact match to the surrounding skin texture or tone cannot be entirely guaranteed. Patience is required as the cellular cycle continues to naturally smooth and regenerate the area over the following weeks.

Preparing for your Appointment & Aftercare

Pre-Treatment Pep

  •  Medical Clearance: Your signed GP or Dermatologist clearance letter must be presented prior to treatment.

Sun & Tan: Strictly avoid active sun exposure, sunbeds, or fake tan on the area for 2 weeks.

Active Skincare: Discontinue Retinol, Glycolic Acid, or Salicylic Acid products for 5 days before your session

Post-Treatment Aftercare

  • Hands Off: A protective micro-crust will form within 72 hours. Do not pick or scratch it. Let it drop off naturally to prevent texturing.

  •  Sun Protection: Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or 50 daily. Freshly healed skin is highly prone to hyperpigmentation if exposed to UV light.

  • Keep It Clean: Avoid makeup directly over the area, hot showers, saunas, and heavy sweating for 48 hours.

A Quick, Simple Step for Your Peace of Mind.

Your safety is the absolute priority at our clinic. Before we can begin reducing any mole, we require a simple, written confirmation letter from your GP or Dermatologist stating that the mole has been checked and is entirely benign and safe for cosmetic removal.

Please don't let this hold you back—it is a incredibly routine request. Simply book a quick chat with your GP, let them know you are looking to have a raised, flesh-coloured non pigmented mole reduced using cosmetic electrolysis, and ask for a brief note giving the all-clear. Once you have that letter in hand, we are officially ready to begin your skin journey.

A quick note: If you ever notice a mole changing shape, developing irregular borders, shifting colour, or starting to itch or bleed, please always have it evaluated by your doctor straight away rather than booking a cosmetic treatment.
